Meet our Servant Leaders

  • Pastor Stan Plooy

    Pastor Stan has been shepherding the flock at Lakeside for 10 years. He was born and raised in Hanford. Previously, Stan served as youth pastor and later the director of congregational learning at First Christian Reformed Church in Hanford. In 2007, he received a calling to help start a church called The Gathering in Sacramento as the associate pastor. In November of 2011, Stan accepted the call to be pastor at Lakeside. Among his other responsibilities, he has also served as Hanford Police Chaplain and currently serves as Hanford Adventist Health Chaplain. Stan and his wife, Jeany, who is an elementary teacher at Lakeside School, have two grown children, Gregory and Ana.

  • Timothy Hanson

    Tim has been ministering in Worship for over 30 years at Lakeside and 34 years overall. He was born and raised in the Bay Area, graduated from UC Davis, and then received his ministry training at First Baptist Church of Davis. He then answered the call to lead Worship and Christian Education at First Baptist Church of Auburn. In 1991, Tim accepted the position of leading worship at Lakeside. Tim also is a 5th Grade Teacher at Kings Christian School in Lemoore, where he has been teaching for over 30 years. Tim and his wife, Pamela, who is currently on staff with Adventist Health Home Care & Hospice Services, have four grown children and four grandchildren.

  • Todd Martin

    Todd is our current Elder. Todd’s father was a church pastor, so Todd moved throughout our West region while growing up. He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University, where he also met his future wife. Todd has been a commercial airline pilot and currently teaches at Kings Christian High School, serving as the school Athletic Director and volleyball coach. Todd is involved in our Lakeside Worship Ministry, where he lends his talents in playing different instruments. He and his wife, Stephanie, who oversees the health program for the Lemoore school districts, have two teenage children, Blynn and Rusty, attending KCHS.
